Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Drill Alarm iOS application (“the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Drill Alarm on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
2. Subscriptions
Setting alarms requires an active auto-renewing subscription. Two plans are offered:
- Weekly: $9.99 per week.
- Annual: $49.99 per year, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
Prices are in USD; local pricing may vary by region and is shown in the App Store at purchase. Subscription terms:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID (Apple Account) at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if not cancelled before the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions on your iPhone.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.
3. Fitness disclaimer
Drill Alarm asks you to perform physical exercise (push-ups, squats, jumping jacks) — often immediately after waking. You exercise at your own risk. The app does not provide medical advice, and its rep counting and coaching are not a substitute for professional instruction. Consult a physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, an injury, or any doubt about your fitness to exercise. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. If you cannot safely exercise when an alarm rings, use the app's Emergency Dismiss.
4. Alarms and reliability
Drill Alarm depends on iOS system features, device settings, battery, and hardware to ring. While we work hard to make alarms reliable, we cannot guarantee that an alarm will ring in every circumstance. Do not rely on the app as your sole alarm for critical obligations.
5. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reps will always be counted accurately.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app — including injuries sustained while exercising, missed alarms, or lost streaks. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Changes to the app and these terms
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date; continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
